St. Aloysius Gonzaga School is a co-educational Catholic school serving students from preschool (starting at age 2.5) through eighth grade. Located in the Florence-Graham neighborhood of South Los Angeles, we proudly welcome a vibrant, multicultural student body that includes African-American, Hispanic, white, and multiracial children. Fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), our school has a rich history of academic excellence.
Founded on September 13, 1921, by the Sisters of Mercy, we proudly celebrated our centennial anniversary in 2021. Today, our dedicated faculty and staff remain deeply committed to providing a well-rounded, faith-based education. We ensure our graduates are spiritually grounded, academically prepared, and fully ready to thrive in high school and beyond.
